The HydroPure Sludge Treatment System ("STS") is a combination
of the HydroPure Tri-Phase Centrifuge system, HydroPure PetroChem chemical
treatments, and application know-how which was developed from several
years of processing the most difficult oily sludge projects
known. The HydroPure STS has been used successfully to treat millions
of barrels of oily sludge from lagoons, tanks, and other waste sources.
Prior to every STS installation have been failed attempts by waste site
owners and/or centrifuge service companies. HydroPure has achieved a 100%
project success rate in all of its applications.
The HydroPure STS separates oily sludges into pipeline grade oil (greater
than 99% purity), clear water, and dry solids. In many STS applications,
the sludge is treated for the value of the recovered oil which is sold
to crude oil marketers and placed into pipelines. In all STS applications,
waste producers dramatically reduced their waste liability while recovering
valuable hydrocarbons from their sludge.
HydroPure offers its STS systems in two size configurations. The STS-200
will process up to 200 cubic meters (approximately 1,300 barrels) of sludge
per 24-hour day. For higher processing volumes, the STS-475 can process
up to 475 cubic meters (approximately 3,000 barrels) per day. The STS
systems can process sludges varying from 0% to 99% hydrocarbon contents,
0% to 99% water contents, and up to 40% solid contents. If the solid content
in a particular application is above 40%, the sludge can be diluted with
water to enable the STS to effectively process the material. Regardless
of the oil/water/solid composition of the sludge, the STS will recover
100% of the liquid hydrocarbons from the material.
The HydroPure STS can be mounted on a skid, into a shipping container
or installed permanently into the customer's facilities. If the customer
requires mobile processing capabilities, HydroPure can configure a self-contained
unit in a trailer or shipping container engineered to minimize project
mobilization and demobilization times.
The STS systems can be engineered with control systems varying from full
to low automation depending on the customers needs. Even the most basic
control package has the necessary safety shutdowns to ensure operator
safety and prevent equipment damage.
